Dorothy Prohaska Stafford (American 1902-1986) American cubist period oil on canvas painting titled "Factory Corner".
The piece was made in 1952 and is framed in a handmade wooden frame. Depicted is a city street corner with streetlight and water tower, in a distinct cubist style.

Dorothy Stafford was born in Chicago and studied under Rudolph Weisenborn. She exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago as well as numerous other locations and was known for her American cubist and abstract Expressionist style.

The painting has an old exhibition label on the back indicating the painting being part of the Palm Beach Art League's annual members exhibition in 1953. It informs on artist name, title and medium.
In great vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and use.
