German Secessionist humidor or casket box with exquisite gilt brass filigree cover and rosewood, made by Erhard & Söhne. The piece has a makers mark on the front of the clasp and is stamped 'Germany' on the back of the clasp. Made in circa 1900 in Germany by the company Erhard & Söhne which was originally established by Carl Gottlieb Erhard and his sons in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1844.
In remarkable antique condition with age-appropriate wear and use.
